About Our NYC

The purpose was to give Red Hook teens a chance to use NYC resources and to be comfortable in our own hometown. A lot of teens don't have access to these things because of numerous reasons, such as: no train fare, no parental permission to travel, or even because some teens feel as if they only belong where they live. This matters to us because nobody should ever feel uncomfortable or not know every part of their hometown and the history behind it.

In this blog you will find the good experiences to the bad experiences from the good times to the bad times. I hope this blog can inspire you to get up and go. You never know, you might get a lifetime experience like we did.
